Valentino Rossi congratulating Nicky Hayden

Poor old Valentino Rossi (aka 'The Doctor') made a rare mistake on Sunday in the last race of the Motor GP season. He slid off the track very early on and admitted it was his mistake. Although he was able to continue in the race he lost too much time. He has previously won 7 world titles (5 in a row). Nicky Haden became world champion. However, it was nice to see how gracious in defeat Valentino was.
Does anyone in the UK watch this sport? I would be interested to know, as it is really big here in Italy. I have just started watching and it is much more exciting than Formula 1 these days. Does anybody know who Valentino Rossi is? In Italy he is a superstar. I think he lives in London where he is relatively unknow.
