Tram Spotters Monthly

A photo I took last week in the snow. I hope I can get it published in 'Tram Spotters Monthly', my favourite read. I highly recommend it.
If anyone has interesting photos of trams then let me know. I can take them to the next meeting to show all the other 'trammies'.

Requests

I have been reading all the emails that people send and comments they make on this blog. Very interesting. The biggest request seems to be for photos of Italian models. To satisfy you all here is a photo of a typical Italian model I found in a magazine (not sure what he was advertising). Obviously not all are as handsome as this one but you can get the general idea of the quality of man in Italy. This one looks like a real poser doesn’t he?

Congratulations! Blog gets its millionth visitor!

Well done everybody. This blog has passed the millionth visitor mark in just a few weeks. I believe it is a new record. Thank you everyone for your support. Below are just a few words from a few people who enjoy this site.

La Reppublica

Translation of last week’s headline “Englishman takes Italy by storm. Italians crazy about new blog site.”

Blair

“Apart from my music, it’s the one thing I look forward to. It helps me unwind after a busy day. It also has worked wonders for Anglo-italian relations. Well done. Keep it up.”

Berlusconi

“Bravo Mike. Who would have thought a small Englishman could make such an impact in Italy. I better watch out.”

Blessing of Flat

Last week I had a Franciscan monk pop into my flat. He was visiting everyone in the area. It was a very pleasant visit and he ended by blessing my flat. Not the type of thing that happens very often in England.

Milan – Most snow for 20 years

Friday there was snow in Milan. It caused chaos. This photo was taken on my way to University. It helped me get in the mood for the winter Olympics which start very soon. More on them next week.
