Mini Break

I know I said I would write about my work this time but most of the people I work with are at the Motor Show in Bologna (that's a clue as to what I do). Next week I will take a photo of us all together and write something here.
Instead, this week I will talk about my mini break. Thursday and Friday there were 2 feast days (Sant'Ambrogio - the Patron Saint of Milan, and the Immaculata) so we went to Padova. I lived here for 3 months in 1999 when I did a work placement with the Leonardo da Vinci project, so it has a special place in my heart. It is especially nice at this time of year, just before Christmas. We also visited an exhibition in Treviso (Venezia '900 - http://www.venezia900.it/) which included artists such as Umberto Boccioni, Felice Casorati (one of the 'Sei di Torino' - 6 from Turin - we have just been to his exhibition in Cherasco), Martini, Moggioli, and Gino Rossi.
A very nice short break. Batteries recharged a bit.

The Cappuccino Kid strikes again (at Caffè Pedrocchi)

Sant'Antonio (the church, not me!)
