Wedding

I am back from my honeymoon in Provence! What a lovely wedding day I had last weekend. Unbelievably neither myself nor Silvia were nervous. We both felt relaxed and enjoyed the whole experience. I even gave a speech in Italian! One of the highlights for me was my mum's speech - also in Italian. It was so moving. Everybody did me proud. There was a lot of emotion. It was the greatest day of my life. And my bride... I am not able to put into words how lovely she was. I am the luckiest guy to have such a lovely wife and caring family.
As yet I don't have any photos of the 'big day'. They are on other peoples digital cameras. When I get some I will put them up here. For now here is a starter. Me in Provence!

Were you not able to put it into words because your Italian is still a bit ropey!!

Enough.....!!

CONGRATULATIONS.

I am very happy for you both. She is very lucky to have you, and I am sure you are lucky to have her.

I know you will have a great life together. Take care and speak soon.

Actually the statue on the right looks a bit wooden, is that meant to be a real person?!

(Sorry Mike - I can't help myself!!)

Hi 'The Sprout'
Funny, but I already knew you wouldn't be able to resist the wooden joke.

Your mother's speech in Italian was one of the highlights of the evening. Your bi-lingual speech went down really well. MD
